The greatest Belgian driver of all time, Jacky Ickx has established himself as the undisputed patron of the event created by Jean-Pol Piron and Alain Degen. His presence, greatly appreciated by participants in 2023, has been renewed for 2024. The good news is that Jacky Ickx will once again be present at the heart of Spa, as well as at the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit, to share his passion for motorsports and sports cars.
As an official partner of the Genesis brand, Jacky Ickx serves as an advisor, ambassador, and competition coach. In this capacity, he will arrive at the Spa Francorchamps Revival behind the wheel of a Genesis G70 "Track Taxi," a luxury sports sedan with distinctive styling and exceptional performance. To ensure the driving performance, durability, and stability required for intense track driving, Genesis is using the G70 3.3T sports model, with global specifications, renowned for its dynamic handling, innovative technology, and athletic coupe-like design.
And since good news never comes alone, Jacky Ickx will be accompanied by his daughter Vanina, who is making an unexpected return to international endurance racing this year after joining the world-renowned Iron Dames! This means that the 2025 Spa Francorchamps Revival will be even bigger than previous editions, offering participants the chance to share their passion with Jacky and Vanina, who has confirmed her presence for the entire weekend, while her famous father will be present from Friday morning to Saturday morning, allowing him to inaugurate the Drivers' Club on Friday evening after leading the traditional parade between the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit and the town center.
Remember that the Spa Francorchamps Revival will take place on Friday, the traditional track day at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, before taking participants on the region's most beautiful roads on Saturday, and finally allowing them to enjoy a day themed around the Maquisard hill climb, just outside Spa, on Sunday. All this in a premium atmosphere, with the town center once again transforming into a showcase for the most beautiful engines and bodywork.
