The greatest Belgian racing driver of all time, Jacky Ickx has established himself as the undisputed godfather of the event signed by Jean-Pol Piron and Alain Degen. His presence, much appreciated by participants in 2023, has been renewed for 2024. The good news is that, for this year's event, Jacky Ickx will once again be on hand from the heart of Spa, as well as on the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, to share his passion for motor sport and sports cars.
As an official partner of the Genesis brand, Jacky Ickx takes on the role of competition advisor, ambassador and coach. As such, he will arrive at the Spa Francorchamps Revival at the wheel of a Genesis G70 'Track Taxi', a luxury sports sedan with a distinctive stylistic identity and exceptional performance. As good news never comes alone, Jacky Ickx will be accompanied by his daughter Vanina, who is making an unexpected return to international endurance racing this year after joining the world-renowned Iron Dames! This means that the 2025 vintage of the Spa Francorchamps Revival will be even stronger than its predecessors, offering participants the chance to share their passion with Jacky and Vanina, who has confirmed her presence for the entire weekend, while her famous father will be present from Friday morning to Saturday morning, allowing him to inaugurate the Drivers' Club on Friday evening, after leading the traditional parade between the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and the city center.
The Spa Francorchamps Revival will feature a traditional day of driving on the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps on Friday, before taking participants on some of the region's finest roads on Saturday, followed by a day of hill-climbing at the Maquisard, just outside Spa, on Sunday. All this in a Premium atmosphere, with the town center once again transformed into a haven for the finest mechanical engineering and bodywork.
There's no doubt about it, there's going to be a big crowd in the Spa region on the second weekend of April...
